Bouquet Subscription FAQs
Hillsdale Flower Farm Bouquet Subscription FAQs
Can I pick the flowers or colors that go into the bouquet?
Unfortunately at this time we have not yet mastered the weather or nature so we cannot guarantee any specific variety. What we CAN guarantee is that you will get the freshest product available and be getting a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
How long will the flowers last?
Some of the most beautiful flowers in the world only last a few days in the vase. We try and include varieties with different vase-life expectancies so that you can enjoy them for at minimum 5-6 days.
How do I care for the flowers?
When you get them home, give them a fresh cut approximately 1” from the bottom of the stem at an angle. Add them to a vase that has been sanitized properly (1-10 bleach-water solution and rinsed well after) with cool tap water. Re-sanitize the vase, refresh the water every second day and rinse the stems off before putting them back in the water.
What if I’m unable to pick up my flowers on one of the days or am away one of the weeks?
We can have the flowers delivered, or you can send a friend to come and pick them up to enjoy them. Or consider having the bouquet donated to a local seniors centre. Call us at 780-417-1627 to make delivery arrangements.
